Obviously, my dream job is related to the degree that I'm studying, so it would be something like working in a mission to preserve or find an ancient archeological site. My real dream is to do this but in any other country specially in difficult countries like Mauritania, Angola, Mozambique or Zimbabwe, this because in those parts are many important sites like the city of Chinguetti or the ancient city of M'Banza Kongo one being swallowed by the Sahara desert and the other one being one of the most important cities of all the history of Africa (both are World Heritage Sites of the UNESCO).
For what I need to work here is principally experience and knowledge of the culture of the place, specially knowledge of the language and respect for the local culture. In terms of money I wouldn't worry too much because if you go to work in some of these places are normally financed by large organizations like the local government, universities, or an ONG and normally the salary depends on your experience but is like $800.000 to $1.000.000 CLP if you're a beginner (in this tipe of works).
The degree I'm studying is anthropology, but the mayor that I need is archeology because only there I can learn the methods to extract and preserve an artifact or a monument like a building. I probably like the idea of work in these places because I feel a kind of guilt for letting this places disappear no matter the historical importance of these.
