Changes to my study programme

Imagen
Hi, today I gonna talk of some problems and solutions of my study programme. Obviously, my study programme is not that perfect and I find necessary some changes with the structure of every subject. This because some subjects tend to have some huge performance differences depending on the type of assessment that we have. And one of the more difficult problems would be the accumulation of different exams in one week that make this a stressful time that can be shown in the performance. I notice in this first semester that the classes where the students made more groups jobs are the ones where the least part really learn something and this was very clear in one class where we have various dual works and in the end of the unit an exam where all the good grades of the previous works aren't visible in the exam. One very nice answer that I have to this problem comes from another teacher of philosophy because in that class the professor pass a lot of content but in the end of the week he su...

Time travel to the past or the future?

Imagen
Probably I wouldn't travel to the past or the future if I cannot get back to the present day, but if I need to choose one, the past is the best option for someone like me. If we talk about why, it is because the future is more scary in some way, and you cannot choose, certainly, how it's going to be, in the other hand you have historical documents of for example the common things and activities of a certain place. Maybe the best option about the place I would choose to live is Ovalle because I was born there, but there I live very close to the old parts of the city like the market, the cathedral and the river. I also know the more typical way for living in the zone and the closer area around the city like Guamalata or Barraza. The best time to live for my in Ovalle would be at the end of the XIX and the first years of the XX century for the changes in the city at that time like the railway (1909) or the first cars and other "new products" of the industrial revolution...

My dream job

Imagen
Obviously, my dream job is related to the degree that I'm studying, so it would be something like working in a mission to preserve or find an ancient archeological site. My real dream is to do this but in any other country specially in difficult countries like Mauritania, Angola, Mozambique or Zimbabwe, this because in those parts are many important sites like the city of Chinguetti or the ancient city of M'Banza Kongo one being swallowed by the Sahara desert and the other one being one of the most important cities of all the history of Africa (both are World Heritage Sites of the UNESCO). For what I need to work here is principally experience and knowledge of the culture of the place, specially knowledge of the language and respect for the local culture. In terms of money I wouldn't worry too much because if you go to work in some of these places are normally financed by large organizations like the local government, universities, or an ONG and normally the salary depends ...

Vacation in the Patagonia

Imagen
This was my latest vacation and it was the BEST vacation I had with my family and it was principally in the city of Coyhaique the least populated regional capital in Chile with around 60000 people and that including that is more than half of total population in the third biggest region and the least populated region also, basically the perfect region for people that are sick of the big cities. We stayed in a cabin, but in the city. The principal purpose of the travel was to visit my sister for 1 week (because she has been working there) and have a little tour of the region, but instead of that we got the biggest adventure on the region traveling over seven hundred kilometers in dirt roads and mountains (because Coyhaique is between the Andes) passing by four national parks and twelve villages and only two "cities" Coyhaique and Puerto Aysén. The more attractive feature of the region was ALL food, people, tourism, flora, fauna, environment (in front of Coyhaique you have t...

Bhinneka Tunggal Ika

Imagen
A country i would really like to visit Door of Troluwan I really would like visit a country like Indonesia, more than anything for they culture that is represent with the national motto of Indonesia Bhinneka Tunggal Ika and this mean United in Diversity. This because you can be a Chinese, Muslim and live in the capital as well as you can be Javanese, Hinduist and live in the north of the island of papua. One of the most influential reasons for me to want to visit Indonesia are the people and the Majapahit architecture, i know that the Majapahit empire form most of the culture that still remains in the people of Indonesia with a tolerance of any religion or culture without exceptions, and for that I probably would like to meet the more amount of people possible and work in here for as long as possible.
